Human Rights Day: Strategies to overcome the blocks to peace & equality

To mark Human Rights Day 2021, Karama publishes its landmark report on Women’s Leadership in Law, Politics and Peace.

The report explores the discussions at Karama’s event for the 65th Commission on the Status of Women, covering women’s rights and law and constitutions, peace & security, and women’s and youth leadership.

The work identified seven major blocks women that prevent them from enjoying equal rights, dignity and peace. To overcome these blocks, the report also outlines 10 key strategies for overcoming the blocks and achieving equal rights, dignity and peace.
