End Impunity, #JusticeForSalwa

Our friend Salwa Bugaighis was murdered six years ago today, and still there is no justice.

Since Salwa’s murder, many more women in Libya have been silenced. Fariha al-BerkawiIntisar Al-HasariSeham Sergiwa, the women of Tarhuna, they need justice too.

It is no possible to build peace and security in a culture of impunity.

We mourn our friend Salwa, and pay tribute to her and the many more women across the world who have been made to suffer just for exercising their basic rights. Salwa fought peacefully for the Libya she had dreamed of, her spirit continues to inspire so many in her homeland and beyond.

Justice for Salwa.
